HOW  TO MAKE THIS AEGINA PISTACHIO BUTTER

just like other home nut butter recipes pistachio is kind of very simple recipe only made from two ingredients.So take some pistachios and salt thats it.

i started with shelled pistachios because it will take great deal of time by shelling pistachios so,I prefer shelled pistachios.


 

 To begin we need to preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)(fan assisted)for 10 minutes,turning halfway.spread the pistachios evenly on a baking sheet and roast them in the oven for about 7-10 minutes, or until they are lightly golden and fragrant. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.Allow the pistachios to cool slightly before transferring them to a food processor.

                        



 Pulse the pistachios in the food processor until they form a fine powder. Then, continue processing for several more minutes until the oils are released, and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. You may need to scrape down the sides of the food processor occasionally.


 If desired, add honey or maple syrup and a pinch of salt to the pistachio butter and continue processing until well combined.Taste the pistachio butter and adjust the sweetness or saltiness according to your preference.

 

 Transfer the pistachio butter to a clean jar or airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to several weeks.
